Our Showcase has been the most outstanding triumph. Our 140 strong cast, led by the Creative & Performing Arts team, took their audience on an incredible journey of humour, fear and genuine delight through their eclectic range of performances. It was so very fitting that our Showcase could take place at the Arts Depot, affording our students the opportunity to perform in a professional setting.
It was particularly special to have pieces which have seen us win the Barnet Schools Dance Competition and Welwyn Youth Drama Festival performed to wider audiences; you could really see why we hold these prestigious titles! The atmosphere in the audience was electric and I am so very proud; a huge well done to all.
Ms Rodford
Ms Rodford has come to us from a theatre background, having worked as an actress for many years. It was whilst working with Theatre in Education companies, travelling to schools all over the country and working with all key stages across the curriculum, that she decided she wanted to work in education full time.
